Working on ISCN module upgrade, refactoring architecture, reviewing ISCN design on both technical and spec.

like.co updates

Deployed a new model of signing session cookie to improve user security against XSS.
Fixed error handling for some APIs.
Will further improve the convenience and security of register API.

ISCN update

Discussed ISCN’s position, use case, strategy, and such.
Completed the ISCN logos.
Will further develop on the ISCN brand, include the ISCN badge and key visual.

was Interviewing creators to collect feedbacks.
Facebook advertisement boost for 5 days, aim to generate testing data for new UI. Cost per paid user registration result is HKD 62.7 for 27 results, reach 19,088 samples.
Published an article about LikeCoin chain staking and governance.

Statistics‌ and Insights

1st step conversion rate of the sponsor link bounces back to above 10% after the features “creator’s pitch” and “price list layout” are rolled out. 130 creators have modified their pitch text.
(bi-weekly) Creators page pageviews: 1998 (+2.6%), sponsor links (https://liker.land/[Liker ID]/civic) page view: 14193 (+10%). Active creators: 7276 (-1%)
(bi-weekly) New app download : 414 (-15%), app active users: 1381 (-6%)
Civic Liker total: 1735; 54 new registrations in last two weeks
The gap between active creators and active readers is further widening. Active creators number:8823 and active likers number: 5618.

Social media (executed by community helper Daisy): Facebook engagement rate was 4% and reach was 425, the best post was the TheNewsLens interview, engagement rate 6%

Progress

liker.land

Fixed an issue where subscription notification email with value “NaN” would be sent out.
For Civic Liker which migrated from 1.0 to 2.0, an issue preventing their leftover LIKE in 1.0 wallet from being sent out is fixed.
Will work on the revamp of the Civic Liker introduction page.

Fix redundant API calls on non-Civic Liker 2.0 users to improve button performance.

Notification Email

Will revamp password-reset email and transaction email templates with new graphic design.

Monthly Report

Creators are now receiving Civic Liker report in addition to the creator report.
Improved layout for mobile devices.

UX/UI Design

Designed and following up on the A/B test option for the Civic Liker entry page.
Drew templates for email notifications.
Will design tips and instructions on the portfolio page, if there was no work.

WordPress Plugin

New feature

A new WordPress plugin version had been released featuring ISCN test net support. Now you can submit your post metadata to the ISCN dev network after uploading it to IPFS.

Upcoming plugin features

Added beautified icon for ISCN and Matters status.
Will add an option to display a badge for post registered on ISCN.

Browser extension

New feature

LikeCoin button is available on Youtube. The feature is developed by the community member guanyun. YouTubers can now earn LikeCoin by Likes from their fans.
UI/internationalization update in progress.
Using react instead of pure html&css.
Add i18n as multi-language support which supports zh-CN zh-TW and en.
